SFDR Teach-In
If you’re unsure about SFDR, whether you’re in scope, or how to ensure that your fund meets the requirements under both the existing and proposed rules, we can arrange a free SFDR “Teach-In” session with us.
Here we’ll explain the fundamentals of SFDR, the key proposed changes under SFDR 2.0, and how they may apply to your firm and your products. We’ll also help you assess whether SFDR alignment is a good fit for your strategy and what steps may be required.
What is SFDR 2.0?
The Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) is one of the core objectives of the EU Action Plan that aims to leverage financial markets to support sustainable economic growth in Europe. It requires investment managers to assess and disclose how sustainability considerations are integrated in their investment processes.
In November 2025, the European Commission proposed “SFDR 2.0”, a major overhaul of the existing framework. Final rules are expected in late 2026 / early 2027. Danesmead Advisory have actively contributed to the consultation process and helped to shape the future regime.
For new fund launches, these changes mean navigating today’s rules while preparing for tomorrow’s. We support clients in meeting current SFDR requirements and positioning their products for the upcoming regime.
